Sooooo...

Sorry for the depressing past journals and if I've been in quite a slump as of late. I think I'm just about recovered from it, not to say "over", but recovered is a good word.

Yeah, we'll go with that.

Anyway, attended Nebraskon 2009 this past weekend, and it was pretty good to say the least. Not amazing, but not terribly horrible either. I think the most depressing part was my lack of being able to bring in my airsoft pistols as Death the Kid, ((which I still find amusingly retarded)) that and the whole mix up with the swimsuit competition.

As far as awards went though, I did get quite a few that made me happy. Our group won Best in Show for skit which made me happy. You can see it here: [link]
I also finished my Emperor Lelouch cape thing to attach on just in time, as well as all of the resin gems are now in place.

Also won as Zero for the "Black Knights" team in two games straight of Get the Crown in the Code Geass panel, which was like a real life mix of checkers and chess. I got to keep the crown, too. >3

Last but not least, also won 2nd Place in the Yaoi Panel, ((which thank god wasn't just fuckin' nonsensical bullshit as I had thought it would be when the pulled out the dollfies and started posing them))


Dealer's room wasn't terrible, but maybe I'm just too picky. I purchased 3 doujins, 1 poster, a Yoko figure, Kuroshitsuji cellphone strap, 2 shirts, and lots of junk food. Yay for rotting my teeth out with loads of ramune and pocky abundance.

All in all, not too bad. Gotta keep moving on all of my projects now though, so I'm not working the night before anything again. Even though I know myself well enough to say I will be anyway.
